What is western dress? How should I dress to look like a Westerner?

Q: I am told that I should dress like British person to fit in.. But I don't know what the British uniform is... Should I wear trousers or jeans? Should I wear a long skirt or are minis in this season? Should I wear a getto look with low slung jeans or dress like a chave in barberry? Should I wear a flece or a hoody, or a waxen jacket? Should I dress smart in a shirt and tie?? Should I dress like a punk and dye my hair grean and get peirced all over? Or should I be a goth and dress in black with white make up...? Or maybe PVC fetish gear would be better?? I could wear Brittish national custom but I don't see too many places selling Beef Eater gear.. At whatever costs should I avoid ethnic clothes..except when ethnic boho chic is in? And what is I wear one of those retro Braselian football t shirts., Would that mean I am dressing foreign, and should be avoided too??? Isn't the nice thing about being a Westener is that there is NO uniform..and you can dress however you want..including Muslim women's hijab???

A: Don't let others get you down. Where what you feel comfortable in. Everybody else does. I know American that where pajamas to the store. So you can't go wrong in your traditional garments. Plus I think they are beautiful. Ethnicity makes this country colourful! That's what I love about Canada anyway!

any fans of the tv show dallas?

Q: are there any fans of the tv show dallas in yahoo land if so what season was the big BBQ food fight between to dressed up women both dressed in all white western outfits (western blouse western long skirt and western boots ) and they both end the fight by ending up in the pool the fight i remember took place at southfork at a big party ( i think a wedding not sure)

dallas the tv show season 5 - BBQ food / catfight?

Q: i was told season 5 is when dallas had the biggest cat/ food fight of the whole series the setting was a wedding outside at southfork and the 2 women fighting were using BBQmostly and it ends when they both go in the pool and they were both wearing all white western outfits ( they were both guest of the wedding) the both had on western blouses long western skirts and western boots does anyone remember the exact details and if that fight is on the web any place were i can watch it again

How long have women been allowed to wear short dresses?

Q: Since ancient times, women wore ankle length dresses or tunics. Even the Aztecs and Maya, Incas, Egyptians, would not allow their women to wear anything short around their bottom halfs. Even today, it's against the law in Arab countries for women to wear short skirts. I know this changed in Western countries in the 1920's. How did this come about?
