BLACK SKIRT LONG INSERT CONTRAST SASH FITS - M L XL 1X - F199S
If you already have the perfect "hourglass" figure, then you might be interested in this skirt because it's gorgeous. If you've always WANTED an hourglass figure, then you might be interested in this because it's gorgeous AND when you slip it on, your figure will visually morph, as closely as possible, into the coveted hourglass form.
Designed with a comfort-conscious elasticized waistline and a 'figure-magic' structure of triangular inserts that are narrow at the waist and gradually become broader to the hem. Then, so that you can really nail down the narrower waistline part of the hourglass, this comes with a long and wide belt so that you can wrap it around and rein in that waistline.
Done up in monochromatic, contrasting colors of a top quality rayon that's softly silky and partners with the design of the skirt to move and flow right along with you, just the way you want. And it gets softer and nicer with each washing.
So, if you appreciate beautiful, comfort-conscious and innovative fashion, then this is for you. And if you've always wished for that elusive "hourglass" form, well, sometimes wishes do come true.

Yemen: The Unknown Arabia

Yemen: The Unknown Arabia
Yemen is arguably the most fascinating and least known country in the Arab world. Long regarded by classical geographers as a fabulous land where flying serpents guarded sacred incense groves, our current ideas of this country at the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula have been hijacked -- by images of the desert, by oil, by the Gulf War. But, as Tim Mackintosh-Smith reminds us with this brilliant book, there is another Arabia. In Yemen -- winner of the Thomas Cook/Daily Telegraph Travel Book Award and a bestseller in five printings in the UK -- Mackintosh-Smith writes with an intimacy and depth of knowledge gained through thirteen years among the Yemenis. Crossing mountain, desert, ocean and three millennia of history, he portrays a land where men chew leaves and camels live on fish; where men wear pinstriped lounge-suit jackets on top, skirts below, and wicked curved daggers in the middle; a city that seems to have been baked, not built, of iced gingerbread. In this book, Yemen is a part of Arabia, but it is like no place else on Earth. A book in the tradition of the best of Pico Iyer, Yemen is an Arabian Grand Tour, a book in which every page is filled -- like the land it describes -- with the marvelous.

Who are these women with long hair and headscarves, who always wear red or blue?

Q: Over the past couple of years, I've sometimes seen a group of young women travelling together at airports, often with an older woman who I suppose acts as some kind of mentor or chaperone. The common characteristics are that the girls all have long hair and usually wear long skirts; they usually wear small triangular headscarves with their long hair visible and hanging loose; they usually wear long skirts and blouses; and they are always partly dressed in red and/or blue. The group will not be dressed completely the same - some wear patterns, some plain, and some have white blouses so it's not a uniform, but it always incorporates red and blue. They don't look like teenagers, they look like young women in their early twenties.

A: Sounds like a cult of some kind..and the color of the headscarf identifies them some way..I have never seen them here....maybe it is something going on in your area? Guess next time you see them, you might ask one of the girls. Would be interesting to see if she would actually speak to you , unless they are told not to speak to anyone. Aloha

I'm thinking of traveling to egypt as a woman i would like some advice?

Q: I have been reading travel blogs from other woman and it seems very mixed about how the locals reaction to woman, i know not to wear anything revealing and i will probably wear a head covering and dark glasses because i would like to attract as little attention as absolutely possible! is there any other advice you can offer? also wear in canada would i find appropriate long skirts and loose shirts? thank you!

A: Well you already know not to dress too revealing, but like the poster above me said.. you will still get some attention just for being a woman! Here is the thing though, everyone gets attention.. egyptians and westerners alike. Its just the Mediterranean culture I guess that makes guys think its cool to stare and make comments. The difference between an egyptian girl and a westerner though is their reaction to this attention. So here are some "rules". 1) dont make eye contact with someone staring at you or smile 2) dont be too friendly or make small talk with cab drivers or anything, you have to be kind of cold and exhude confidence 3) always have that look on your face.. the "dont even THINK about talking to me" face 4) walk fast Thats what I always do... im egyptian, but look completely western. Its just something you get used to, so don't let it bother you and enjoy your time in Egypt! Also just keep in mind that Egypt is pretty much the safest place in the world... I know that if anyone even tried to touch a hair on my head I could just yell and tons of people would help me, so DONT worry at all! It will be fine.

How can I tone down a goth look to make it comfortable for airplane travel?

Q: I usually wear long dark skirts, tight shirts and corsets, fishnets, high heels, several layers, elbow high gloves, lots of silver jewelry, etc. I'm going on a 14 hour plane ride from China to the US. As soon as I get to the airport I'm headed to, I'll be seeing some people I haven't seen in quite awhile and there's a layover in Los Angles where I'll be having lunch with some other people I haven't seen for awhile. Because of this, I don't want to just wear a tee shirt and jeans and tennis shoes because I'd like them to see who I am now and how I express it. But, my usual outfits are not comfortable enough for that long ride and my jewlery will take forever to take off for the security and metal detectors. Any suggestions on what I could wear to keep my look but be comfortable and not set off alarms? I'd prefer to not have to buy many new clothes. So far, Pineapple's idea is the one I like most. Any one else have suggestions? Dir_En_Grey_Otaku, I love your idea! Thank you. Still taking other suggestions, though. See if anyone can manage to come up with something even better! btw, you have plenty of time....there is still 7 days until the plane ride.

A: Try a corset, hopefully one that moves and allows you to breathe and doesnt have much metal in it, with a black skirt and stockings...some flat shoes and you can do your makeup...eh...If not, then you could go for the classic black dress with boots, you could also take your outfit on the plane with you in a carry-on and dress in the restroom the last hour of the flight...wear tennies and jeans for the other part...I did it once..as long as its not too complicated of an outfit and it doesnt take half an hour to put on it works....good luck and sorry I I made absolutely no sense to you :P
