Where can I locate long denim skirts for my daughter?

Q: Where can I find long denim skirts that will fit an eleven year old girl that wears half sizes? Store names & web sites are most welcome. Thanks. My daughter has asked for this. I do not make her wear any certain kind of clothes.

Q: I was just wondering what the name of the religion was where women wear their hair really long (and sometimes in a bun) and they wear ankle length denim skirts? And no jewelry or make-up?

Q: Is it a kind of a uniform? I noticed that Orthodox Jewish women wear them, so do Catholic nuns, some covered Muslim women do too and Baptist/Evangelical and Mormon types wear those long denim skirts too. Why do conservative women of various faiths frequently choose to wear the same clothing item-- a long denim skirt?

A: Because long skirts made out of material other than denim are very hard to find, and when you do find them they're often bloody expensive. Besides, denim wears the best and washes like a dream. it's like everyone else wearing blue jeans every single day. Only instead of blue jean pants, it's a blue jean skirt. It isn't a uniform. It's just the most practical thing. Oh and it's also about modesty. Wowee, I just love how understanding and non-judgmental all you people are! Sweet. I have to say, as a Christian woman who only wears skirts...not a one of you has any clue what you're talking about.
