Q: Does anyone know where I can get long colorful skirts?? I love Middle Eastern and African inspired designs.

A: Raid my closet. I get most of mine at thrift stores. They have lots of skirts, long and colorful, etc. And if you can sew, size won't be an issue.

Q: Where can I find skirts and tops like Pyramid Collection has for a lower price? Like the long colorful skirts, and the tops they have. I love their skirts and tunics, as well as some of their tops, but there is no way I'm paying $70 for a shirt. Any help much appreciated.

What do Russians look like?

Q: This is not a joke or insult. Recently in my town/neighborhood we have had a influx of many immigrants, these people seem nice but they keep to themsevles, buy houses close to each other, hang out together and speak very broken english. Everyone around here says they are from Russia, they call them The Russians. I dont know though-looking at them they really dont resemble any Russians i have met or seen on TV. The few Russians i have encountered just looked like Americans, Brits or Germans, light skin, brown or blond hair. These people on the other hand all have tan skin, black dark hair, dark eyes. They appear to be more middle eastern/islamic or maybe hispainc/latino to me. Yet i highly doubt they are Islamic because they dont wear the traditional clothing that most Muslims wear,. Then men just dress casual-jeans and a button up shirt or sweater and the women wear long colorful skirts or dresses with a scarf on their head. Not a hijab like Muslim women wear, just a large colorful scarf and also some where quite a bit of jewelry. Any clue where these people are from? Talking to them is strange, as i said they speak very little English, and they keep to themselves. If you walk past them and say hi they might nod and thats about it. There is like around 5-8 families at various houses in my neighborhood alone, the only ones who are out and more social are the kids, and i dont feel comfortable approaching someones children.

A: They are a Slavic people, just like the Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs, etc so they look Slavic: Pale or pinkish skin, large light eyes, prominent cheekbones, usually light hair (i.e. blond or reddish/brown usually) and noses ranging from large to snub. But not all Russians look alike, I am describing and ethnic Russian, not a Gypsy or Cossack or a Finno-Ugric. These people could be Gypsies, or possibly Greeks or Turks. Don't feel embarrassed to ask. These people are probably not Kazakh, Kazakhs look more Mongolian. They are probably not Uzbeks or Turkmens because those people are Muslim
