Why is it that Islamic people can`t wear....?

Q: Okay, I want to wear a skirt right? Not a stupid mini skirt or a really long skirt that goes all the way down to my feet! I want to wear a medium length skirt! that`s like under my knees, but the whole islam thing makes no sense to me, I mean i understand and stuff but i`m not trying to make myself, ya know showy or demeaning. I like medium length skirts, but I don`t know if I can wear them. Here`s what i noticed juniors and kids skirts are like really tight around your butt, if it`s not like tight around me can i still wear it? Dress code for Islamic Women?

Q: I'm a muslim girl that is in grade 8. My family is real religious (well my dad, my mom is not that religious but she haves to follow my dads orders). I don't wear islamic clothing at all, well I don't wear a hajab and I don't really want to. I wear clothing like a normal girl does, I don't cover up too much, just normal. My father moved away but his words are always in my head "If you don't wear muslim women clothing (like hajab, long skirt and long sleeved shirt etc..) then you will go to hell, you have to cover up". Thoes words keep haunting me alot, I don't know what to do. I love my God, he is like my bestest friend that is always with me but everytime I hear something bad and unfair about Islam rules, I feel like a got ripped off, like Islam is not real and it took me along time to love my god and I don't want to lose him. I belive Allah dosnt care what you wear or whatever, I belive that he cares inside the most. If you don't wear islamic women clothes, well you go to hell? Please give me a short, easy to read answer. I'm in grade 8 (13 years old) so yeah.. I usally ask questions like this and people answer long answers and I don't read it at all. I wear kinda modestly or something. I don't wear makeup at all or something that is too flashy that attracts men. It is just something normal. I sometimes cover my breasts, I want to but it dosn't cover that much. I'm a sporty person, I do some girly stuff but yeah.

Islamic Dolls?

Q: Is everyone familiar with the Islamic "Barbie"... Razanne and Fula? Well, I never liked Barbies growing up because they are too small and hard to dress!!! Well, I make Islamic clothes for my daughters "American Girl" Dolls...Little Hijabs, long tunics, and, and skirts....they are so cute (even my American friends like them)...that I want to sell them!!! But, I want to make sure that this is no Haram...does anyone know if this is Haram or not? Chal, can you tell me where you found them...I have searched and cannot find anyone else who makes them!!! Q: Predators’ crimes and punishment Abused in a graveyard While the country was celebrating Christmas on Dec 25, 2006, tree cutter K. Kamalason, 47, raped a five-year-old child in a Chinese graveyard in Kuantan. He inflicted his young victim with extremely serious internal injuries to her uterus, intestines and private parts. Kamalason is married with two children ages two and six and was sentenced 20 years in jail and 20 strokes of the rotan. Her stepfather, her rapist As a stepfather, Zulkarnain Ramle, 40, of Kampung Sourabaya Hulu, Petra Jaya in Sarawak should have protected and cared for his stepchildren. Instead, Zulkarnain raped his 11-year-old stepdaughter three years ago when both her mother and elder sister were not at home. The child told her mother, who lodged a police report and her daughter taken for a medical examination. Zulkarnain was sentenced to 12 years in jail on Nov 3, 2003. On her way to work On Oct 7, 2000, computer engineer Noor Suzaily Mukhtar, 24, boarded a Metro bus from Kuala Lumpur to her workplace in Klang. It was like any other day during her two-week attachment at a medical centre in Port Klang. After the bus driver, Hanafi Mat Hassan, 38, dropped off the last remaining passenger at the Klang bus stand, he changed routes towards Banting and pulled over at the Bukit Tinggi project site. Noor Suzaily tried to escape but the doors were locked. The windows were heavily tinted so she could not draw attention. He told her she would die if she wasn’t cured of her elephantiasis disease. He convinced the girl’s father to set aside a room in their house to perform special prayers and treatments which could only be carried out after midnight to cure her. Over three years, the bomoh undressed the girl, raped and sodomised her while her parents slept. Before the “treatments”, the bomoh had forced the girl to spiritually marry him so they could have sex. She warned the girl not to inform her parents as the treatments must be kept a secret. In July 2003, the girl broke her silence and lodged a police report. The bomoh is learnt to have seven wives and was previously acquitted of a charge of conducting a marriage ceremony contrary to Islamic law at the Lower Syariah court in Malacca. The suspect reportedly has treatment centres in Pahang, Johor and other states. Police started a hunt for the bomoh who has since been on the run. Consensual sex or statutory rape? Thor Guan Aik asked the right question to his teenage girlfriend before having sex with her two years ago in Sungai Nibong, Penang, “How old are you?” She told him she was 16, which was old enough, so they had sex. She was actually 14 and the case went to court as statutory rape. On Oct 18, 2005, a Sessions Court freed Thor of the charge, ruling that the couple had consensual sex. The girl refused to testify in court. The judge also ruled her evidence as contradictory to the doctor and investigating officers’ testimonies. His release prompted women’s groups to call for an amendment of the Evidence Act to allow videotaped evidence to be allowed in cases. Raped after birthday bash In August 2004, lorry attendant Jailani Budin, 21, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to six charges of raping a Form Three girl after helping to celebrate her 15th birthday. He maintained his innocence that another security guard had been the killer. The serial rapist In January 2006, Beh Soon Hock (pic left), 39, lost his appeal against a sentence of 60 years and 24 strokes of the rotan for five offences of rape, sodomy, robbery and theft. High Court Justice Abdull Hamid Embong, who rejected Beh’s appeal, said he agreed that the sentences imposed on him by a lower court were appropriate. Beh had raped a South Korean woman and sodomised an Irish woman and a 10-year-old Kuwaiti boy. A: It's heartbreaking... To sentence them to death would be too easy on them. Should give them the cane and life imprisonment, preferably let them languish in solitary cell. That would make them go crazy.

Modest Islamic dressing?

Q: In regards to Islamic dressing I'm in two minds. On the one hand I think that I should be wearing Abayas or at the very least long skirts. On the other hand I think well, as long as my clothes are loose and unrevealing and I'm covering everything except my hands and face then surely it shouldn't be a problem? Any thoughts?

A: Yes sis i am so exactly like you It really depends where you are .. Here in the UK, both men and women are so mixed in that its not hard for a man to find a women to have sex with or somewhat rape. And its more freedom anyway, like even if you wear bright, stylable but modest clothes you still blend in because the other women wear the same. As for when i go to a Muslim country, the completel opposite. The men are always outside trying to find women and most of the women are inside. Although Arab women outnumber Arab men alot. So i find myself more comfortable wear abayas or even a full veil when i have to walk past some crowded men in the streets. If they find you wearing colourful clothes you wouldn't blend in like the other girls and you would be seen as an attractive slut and they would start teasing you by flirting with you and even stalking you!! it happened to me before i understood why they were doing these foolish acts... So yea...depends where you are and what your intentions of doing it are
